Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rıfkı Balatürk made the kick off which started today's match. If Rıfkı Balatürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Berkant Eröz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Yasin Ulubek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Göktuğ Ergüner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ali Berkant Eröz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gönen JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Berkant Eröz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yasin Ulubek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Berkant Eröz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yasin Ulubek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Berkant Eröz in the 28th minute of play forced Gürgentep's goalkeeper Yasin Ulubek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fazıl Hüsnü Turkay fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gürgentep's protests and gave Fazıl Hüsnü Turkay a yellow card for diving instead. Fazıl Hüsnü Turkay hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ali Berkant Eröz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Yasin Ulubek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gürgentep's Yasin Ulubek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Berkant Eröz in the 35th minute of play. Ali Berkant Eröz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yasin Ulubek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Gürgentep's Rıfkı Balatürk got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Alkın Yenay struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Onur Ali Aynacı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürgentep. Rıfkı Balatürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Onur Ali Aynacı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rıfkı Balatürk ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rıfkı Balatürk in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Onur Ali Aynacı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Gönen JK's Rıza Tercan got a free kick in the 61st minute. Alkın Yenay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur Ali Aynacı having to interfere. Onur Ali Aynacı came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Gürgentep's Alkın Yenay. But to his dismay, Alkın Yenay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 81st minute, Faruk Nafiz Rıdvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Berkant Eröz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ali Berkant Eröz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasin Ulubek having to interfere. The supporters of Gönen JK booed when Gürgentep was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazıl Hüsnü Turkay didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Gürgentep's Yasin Ulubek got control of the ball when Göktuğ Ergüner tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
