A collision led to Baskale getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Akil Muhteşem hit a great ball. Baskale's Abdulvahit İdilkurt got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Baskale's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Berkant Eröz came free, but Bahattin Saltuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Onur Ali Aynacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akil Muhteşem in the 35th minute of play. Göktuğ Ergüner in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bahattin Saltuk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Akil Muhteşem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur Ali Aynacı having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Berkant Eröz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Göktuğ Ergüner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahattin Saltuk having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güray Çakman during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Baskale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güray Çakman to maneuver through the defense. Ali Berkant Eröz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Baskale's zone, Ali Berkant Eröz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahattin Saltuk came out of the goal and Ali Berkant Eröz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derviş Temizsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahattin Saltuk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Baskale's Bahattin Saltuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Berkant Eröz in the 69th minute of play. Abdulvahit İdilkurt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Onur Ali Aynacı made a huge save. In the 80th minute Göktuğ Ergüner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahattin Saltuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Akil Muhteşem came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Baskale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akil Muhteşem couldn't finish the play. Bahattin Saltuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Berkant Eröz in the 89th minute of the match. Onur Ali Aynacı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akil Muhteşem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akil Muhteşem did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Onur Ali Aynacı 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gönen JK's zone, İshak Yücel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onur Ali Aynacı came out of the goal and İshak Yücel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gönen JK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Baskale's performance. The match ended with a win for Baskale.
