Abdulvahit İdilkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Yasin Ulubek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baskale's Akil Muhteşem got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rıfkı Balatürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorukhan Kiray in the 22nd minute of play forced Baskale's goalkeeper Bahattin Saltuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akil Muhteşem took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yasin Ulubek. Yasin Ulubek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Gürgentep's goal looked a bit too open when Akil Muhteşem came free, but Yasin Ulubek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorukhan Kiray kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Baskale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Cem Gezer to maneuver through the defense. Faruk Nafiz Rıdvan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bahattin Saltuk. Baskale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bahattin Saltuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Balatürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rıfkı Balatürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahattin Saltuk having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Yavuz Selim Reşan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bahattin Saltuk skillfully saved the ball. Yasin Ulubek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akil Muhteşem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rıfkı Balatürk to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güray Çakman got free with Yasin Ulubek in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. İsmail Cem Gezer hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Alkın Yenay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baskale's Bahattin Saltuk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gürgentep's Yasin Ulubek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Gürgentep from getting a goal against them. Gürgentep's Yasin Ulubek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akil Muhteşem in the 63rd minute of play. Alkın Yenay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bahattin Saltuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahattin Saltuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkın Yenay in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute Akil Muhteşem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yasin Ulubek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akil Muhteşem might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yasin Ulubek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Akil Muhteşem ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdulvahit İdilkurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Alkın Yenay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Baskale's zone, Rıfkı Balatürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahattin Saltuk came out of the goal and Rıfkı Balatürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yasin Ulubek made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Abdulvahit İdilkurt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkın Yenay in the 87th minute of play forced Baskale's goalkeeper Bahattin Saltuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Rıfkı Balatürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gürgentep's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıfkı Balatürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alkın Yenay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bahattin Saltuk was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Baskale eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
