In the 7th minute, Çakabey Akersoy made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Gökalp Erbatur. Ciftehavuzlar SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Mustafa Yaşar Canıtez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciftehavuzlar SK's Ahmet Gökalp Erbatur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Çakabey Akersoy scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Gökalp Erbatur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ciftehavuzlar SK booed when Ürgüp SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arın Ferhat Mert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Yaşar Canıtez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ahmet Gökalp Erbatur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ciftehavuzlar SK's kaya Acıbadem got a free kick in the 41st minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tacettin Tandan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Bedri Hayırlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çakabey Akersoy in the 59th minute of play forced Ciftehavuzlar SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Gökalp Erbatur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gencer Balatürk struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Tacettin Tandan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciftehavuzlar SK. In the 79th match minute, Ürgüp SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arın Ferhat Mert to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Yaşar Canıtez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gökalp Erbatur having to interfere. Erdoğan Onultan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Tacettin Tandan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencer Balatürk in the 88th minute of play. Mustafa Yaşar Canıtez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gökalp Erbatur having to interfere. When Gencer Balatürk came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ciftehavuzlar SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencer Balatürk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ürgüp SK's Arın Ferhat Mert got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ürgüp SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
