Poligom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sariyahsi the free kick. After 5 played minutes Poligom got a freekick which was hit by Zülfü Bayrak. Rasim Sebukalp was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Orçun Bahar kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Işık Murat took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mahir Sidar to make any attempt to save it. 21 minutes into the game, Mehmet Anıl Boğatekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poligom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sariyahsi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Poligom's Mehmet Anıl Boğatekin got a free kick in the 21st minute. Sariyahsi's Orçun Bahar got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes of play Poligom's Zülfü Bayrak was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 28th minute, Zülfü Bayrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poligom's Nuri İltemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cemal Özalpman in the 28th minute of play. Aydın Akbaba kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Nuri İltemur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cemal Özalpman went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sariyahsi's Cemal Özalpman got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sariyahsi booed when Poligom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aysan Sururi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuri İltemur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemal Özalpman in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şenel İftihar to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Aydın Akbaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahir Sidar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cemal Özalpman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cemal Özalpman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nuri İltemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cemal Özalpman got free with Nuri İltemur in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Cemal Özalpman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şenel İftihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuri İltemur having to interfere. If Şenel İftihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
