Bahcesaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediz Sarif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksel Şenyurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hani JK's Göksel Şenyurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadırhan Ziya in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Mustafa Cumhur Özerkmen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Saffet Karaca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Hasan Taykara fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahcesaray's protests and gave Hasan Taykara a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bahcesaray getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hasan Taykara hit a great ball. Hayri Kutlubay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Cumhur Özerkmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Saffet Karaca made a huge save. If Ediz Sarif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göksel Şenyurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nabi Samim, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
