The crowd rose to their feet as Muharrem Dönmez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Namık Kemal Yolaç. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Nazil İmren kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharrem Dönmez in the 26th minute of play forced Menemen's goalkeeper Namık Kemal Yolaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gürhan Taze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baykal Ermiye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerem Cezri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İbrahim Efe Demiray's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ortaköy SK's Kerem Cezri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Efe Demiray in the 40th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İbrahim Efe Demiray was the one to do the kick off. Gürhan Taze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Namık Kemal Yolaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Menemen got a freekick which was hit by Ateş Özden. Gürhan Taze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İbrahim Efe Demiray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Gürhan Taze notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Menemen's Namık Kemal Yolaç. Namık Kemal Yolaç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Menemen's Namık Kemal Yolaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muharrem Dönmez in the 76th minute of play. Bora Kutsan kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Muharrem Dönmez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ortaköy SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Namık Kemal Yolaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muharrem Dönmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ortaköy SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Menemen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
