Ahmet Kağan Vezir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuri Neşit having to interfere. Onurhan Rıza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ulu Yalınalp fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haymana SK's protests and gave Ulu Yalınalp a yellow card for diving instead. Haymana SK's Tansu Ulun suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Haymana SK booed when Izmir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talha Verim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th play minute Onurhan Rıza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kadri Sekib. 1-0. In the 19th minute Paşa Atabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuri Neşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onurhan Rıza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vecdi Huzur might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kadri Sekib. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vecdi Huzur ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 25 in the game by Onurhan Rıza from a close distance when the talented Kadri Sekib managed to make a qualified save. Izmir SK's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Haymana SK's zone, Ahmet Kağan Vezir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuri Neşit came out of the goal and Ahmet Kağan Vezir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Paşa Atabey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuri Neşit was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Nuri Neşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Vezir in the 31st minute of play. When Paşa Atabey came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Izmir SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paşa Atabey couldn't finish the play. Onurhan Rıza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kadri Sekib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onurhan Rıza in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paşa Atabey in the 46th minute of play forced Haymana SK's goalkeeper Nuri Neşit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Kağan Vezir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Vecdi Huzur in the 56th minute of play forced Izmir SK's goalkeeper Kadri Sekib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuri Neşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paşa Atabey in the 58th minute of play. Ahmet Kağan Vezir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulu Yalınalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kadri Sekib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamit Dağasan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Paşa Atabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuri Neşit having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Izmir SK's Talip Güler got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ahmet Kağan Vezir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuri Neşit having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Haymana SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vecdi Huzur to maneuver through the defense. Nuri Neşit was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Paşa Atabey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paşa Atabey really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Izmir SK's Ahmet Kağan Vezir got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Izmir SK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Haymana SK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
