Mücahit Tosun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enginalp Taykoç. Yalvac JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enginalp Taykoç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ogün İlsev's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Ulu Nesip's late challenge caught a Karaman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulu Nesip helped the player get up and apologised. Ulu Nesip kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Enginalp Taykoç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berke Başdoğan in the 10th minute of play. Karaman's Ramiz Uluerkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Karaman from getting a goal against them. Karaman's Ramiz Uluerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedih Battal in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yalvac JK defense, Berke Başdoğan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enginalp Taykoç. The Yalvac JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enginalp Taykoç should have stopped the shot. Şansal Yarlık who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Ramiz Uluerkan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Şansal Yarlık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karaman's Berke Başdoğan got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 minutes of play Yalvac JK's Ulu Nesip was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Yalvac JK's Ulu Nesip got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Karaman were awarded a corner. İstemihan Sözer went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ogün İlsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Karaman's goalkeeper Ramiz Uluerkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şansal Yarlık. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berke Başdoğan in the 46th minute of play forced Yalvac JK's goalkeeper Enginalp Taykoç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bedih Battal during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Yalvac JK got a freekick which was hit by Bedih Battal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berke Başdoğan to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Berke Başdoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaman's supporters rose to their feet, but Berke Başdoğan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enginalp Taykoç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ogün İlsev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Enginalp Taykoç made a huge save. Şansal Yarlık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiz Uluerkan having to interfere. Cezmi Zoral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enginalp Taykoç made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ogün İlsev sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Yalvac JK's Şansal Yarlık sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiz Uluerkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karaman's Ogün İlsev was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Ogün İlsev came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Karaman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ogün İlsev couldn't finish the play. Aysan Humbaracıbaşı hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Berke Başdoğan struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Enginalp Taykoç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karaman.
