After 2 minutes, Aras Görkem Refettin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Idealtepe JK and the Kigi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Idealtepe JK getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Aras Görkem Refettin hit a great ball. Idealtepe JK's Göktuğ Adıbelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Arif Kudret in the 6th minute of play. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mehmet Arif Kudret sped through Idealtepe JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Göktuğ Adıbelli. Idealtepe JK's Göktuğ Adıbelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Arif Kudret in the 15th minute of play. When Seyfi Ülkü fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kigi's protests and gave Seyfi Ülkü a yellow card for diving instead. If Fuat İltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Idealtepe JK's Fuat İltay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rüstem Pakkan. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kigi's Çağrı Serkan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Idealtepe JK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Efekan Mazlum hit a great ball. When Çağrı Serkan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Kigi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağrı Serkan couldn't finish the play. Mehmet Arif Kudret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Göktuğ Adıbelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efekan Mazlum's late challenge caught a Kigi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efekan Mazlum helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Idealtepe JK got a freekick which was hit by Efekan Mazlum. Tibet Okan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Göktuğ Adıbelli. Idealtepe JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Çağrı Serkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktuğ Adıbelli having to interfere. Idealtepe JK's Göktuğ Adıbelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Arif Kudret in the 45th minute of play. Çağrı Serkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktuğ Adıbelli having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yahya Kemal Öner to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Kemal Öner in the 52nd minute of play forced Kigi's goalkeeper Rüstem Pakkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Arif Kudret in the 69th minute of play forced Idealtepe JK's goalkeeper Göktuğ Adıbelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Idealtepe JK's Yahya Kemal Öner got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Idealtepe JK's Göktuğ Adıbelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Arif Kudret in the 78th minute of play. If Seyfi Ülkü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çağrı Serkan came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Göktuğ Adıbelli could save by the left post. Rüstem Pakkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yahya Kemal Öner, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fuat İltay struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Rüstem Pakkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Idealtepe JK. 92 minutes into the game, Idealtepe JK's Yahya Kemal Öner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüstem Pakkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 97 minutes into the match, Idealtepe JK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Arif Kudret came free, but Göktuğ Adıbelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Arif Kudret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
