Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ferid Hinoğlu got the match started through his kick off. Ferid Hinoğlu struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Korkutalp Okanay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Günesli. After 6 played minutes Sarioglan got a freekick which was hit by Şentürk Yalvaç. In the 8th match minute, Günesli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timur Koray to maneuver through the defense. Cemal Tumbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Haliç in the 11th minute of the match. Ferid Hinoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Altuğ Merih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Günesli getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Çetin Bağcı hit a great ball. Cemal Tumbay was a little too slow when Mehmet Haliç got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 28 played minutes Sarioglan got a freekick which was hit by Özer Akansel. In the 32nd minute, Çetin Bağcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cemal Tumbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Haliç in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Günesli's Remzi Ulusoy got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes Günesli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ömer Rıza Vecdi who took care of the corner kick. Remzi Ulusoy charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remzi Ulusoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Haliç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sarioglan's Korkutalp Okanay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferid Hinoğlu in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Günesli's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Haliç came free, but Cemal Tumbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İsmail Orhun Cihannur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkutalp Okanay having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Ceyhan Onural hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İsmail Orhun Cihannur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Korkutalp Okanay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cemal Tumbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altuğ Merih, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 86 played minutes Günesli got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ege Öztay. In the 87th minute of the match Timur Koray shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Korkutalp Okanay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 88th match minute, Sarioglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güven Özgu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Orhun Cihannur got free with Korkutalp Okanay in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özer Akansel during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Özer Akansel kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by İsmail Orhun Cihannur from a close distance when the talented Korkutalp Okanay managed to make a qualified save. Sarioglan's players were relieved. After 94 played minutes Sarioglan got a freekick which was hit by Özer Akansel. After 96 minutes of play, Günesli's İsmail Orhun Cihannur made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korkutalp Okanay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Günesli's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
