Hamdi Gümüşcüoğlu hit a great ball. After 12 minutes, Abdurrahman Uludoğan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cihanbeyli SK and the Kadirli players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kadirli booed when Cihanbeyli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdurrahman Uludoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eyüp İlhanoğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Kadirli's zone, Abdurrahman Uludoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz came out of the goal and Abdurrahman Uludoğan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gündüz Namık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan having to interfere. Ayvaz Refi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, Kadirli's goalkeeper Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eyüp İlhanoğlu. Kadirli's Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrahman Uludoğan in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Cihanbeyli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özen Okan to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cihanbeyli SK's goalkeeper Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eyüp İlhanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Eyüp İlhanoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gündüz Namık was the one to do the kick off. Gündüz Namık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan having to interfere. Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdurrahman Uludoğan in the 58th minute of play. Gündüz Namık struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kadirli. After a defensive mix-up in Cihanbeyli SK's zone, Ayvaz Refi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan came out of the goal and Ayvaz Refi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gündüz Namık in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gündüz Namık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ayvaz Refi got free with Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Kadirli got a freekick which was hit by Beşir Aksakal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdurrahman Uludoğan in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdurrahman Uludoğan's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Ayvaz Refi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Cahit Tanaltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cüneyd Karabey hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Özen Okan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdi Mehmet Akgündüz skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th match minute, Kadirli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beşir Aksakal to maneuver through the defense. Gündüz Namık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kadirli's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
