Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bedih Koray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ege Raif in the 9th minute. Hüseyin Cahit Özal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bedih Koray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Ege Raif ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bedih Koray was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Kula booed when Ankaragücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Irgatbaşı didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ege Raif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kula's Doğuhan Nesefi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faik Naci in the 31st minute of play. Mete Yuluğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Doğuhan Nesefi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ankaragücü's Bedih Koray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ankaragücü from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, one of Kula:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kula. If Faik Naci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüseyin Cahit Özal to strike the kick off in the second half. Faik Naci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ege Raif might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bedih Koray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ege Raif ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Cahit Özal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bedih Koray. Ankaragücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüseyin Cahit Özal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 62nd minute, Ege Raif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mete Yuluğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Doğuhan Nesefi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doğuhan Nesefi came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ankaragücü's Faik Naci. But to his dismay, Faik Naci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Hüseyin Cahit Özal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ege Raif's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bedih Koray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Kula's Doğuhan Nesefi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Kula from getting a goal against them. Hüseyin Cahit Özal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bedih Koray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ege Raif, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes, Kula's Bünyamin Başkur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bedih Koray came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kula reached it. Hüseyin Cahit Özal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
