Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mecidiyeköy's Vacid Hunalp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denizhan Türk in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yavuz Selim İnanöz saved Mecidiyeköy from getting behind. Denizhan Türk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim İnanöz having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Denizhan Türk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Denizhan Türk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eski SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denizhan Türk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Vacid Hunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necip Soyurgal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Mecidiyeköy's Mert Savtuna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Necip Soyurgal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eski SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vacid Hunalp 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Mecidiyeköy's Yavuz Selim İnanöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denizhan Türk in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dilaver Kotuz during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dilaver Kotuz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Abdurrahim Orbey, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hazım Birhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hazım Birhan in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yavuz Selim İnanöz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sezgin Rasih's late challenge caught a Mecidiyeköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sezgin Rasih helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Eski SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mecidiyeköy:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Denizhan Türk in the 52nd minute of play forced Mecidiyeköy's goalkeeper Yavuz Selim İnanöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vacid Hunalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necip Soyurgal was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Vacid Hunalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Eski SK's Hazım Birhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yavuz Selim İnanöz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 81 minutes into the game, Hazım Birhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eski SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mecidiyeköy the free kick. In the 81st minute, Hazım Birhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eski SK's Necip Soyurgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vacid Hunalp in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Vacid Hunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mecidiyeköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vacid Hunalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Mecidiyeköy got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Tublek. Eski SK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
