Erkut Bekiroğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nizam Kuddus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Sögütlü getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sertaç İlkay hit a great ball. Erkut Bekiroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nizam Kuddus having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Gökceada's Erkut Bekiroğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nizam Kuddus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mehmet Emrah Temren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Emrah Temren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Abdurrahim Arısan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Aybar Balkanlı made the kick off in the second half. Erkut Bekiroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 52nd match minute, Sögütlü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sertaç İlkay to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
