Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erhun Server made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayfun Ulusoy in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Nevsehir FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şimşek Çoğahan to maneuver through the defense. Erhun Server was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Batı Pertev. 16 minutes into the match, Gökceada's Erkut Bekiroğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erhun Server narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erkut Bekiroğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Erhun Server when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Ertaç Uğurtan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdurrahim Arısan. Gökceada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertaç Uğurtan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nevsehir FK's Erhun Server played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayfun Ulusoy in the 30th minute of play. Abdurrahim Arısan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Hamza Lefter in the 31st minute of play. Ahmet Ozan Arısal charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Ozan Arısal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Gökceada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ozan Arısal to maneuver through the defense. Nevsehir FK's Ali Hamza Lefter got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erhun Server made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erkut Bekiroğlu in the 38th minute. Ali Hamza Lefter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahim Arısan having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, one of Nevsehir FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nevsehir FK. The goalkeeper, Erhun Server, was totally fooled by Gökceada's Batı Pertev, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayfun Ulusoy to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Ertaç Uğurtan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nevsehir FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 71st minute Ali Hamza Lefter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdurrahim Arısan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdurrahim Arısan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Hamza Lefter in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes in the game, Ali Hamza Lefter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abdurrahim Arısan having to interfere. Gökceada succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nevsehir FK had controlled the match.
