If Ahmet Arif Uruç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egemen Binalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Devlet Hatmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altuğ Yücelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aybek Dilsaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Ahmet Nasir Bahadıroğlu, was totally fooled by Menderes's Müfit Akkan, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 24 played minutes Yahyali JK got a freekick which was hit by Gaffar Bürge. The crowd rose to their feet as Menderes's Aybek Dilsaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Nasir Bahadıroğlu. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Kağan Tezay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ahmet Arif Uruç came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Menderes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Arif Uruç couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Yahyali JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aybek Dilsaz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Devlet Hatmi spun around in front of the goal 44 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Menderes's goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aybek Dilsaz in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Nasir Bahadıroğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Yahyali JK's Egemen Binalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Altuğ Yücelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The Yahyali JK fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Yahyali JK's Egemen Binalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute, Devlet Hatmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75thth minute of the game Devlet Hatmi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menderes's Altuğ Yücelen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes Menderes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mithat Mutluer who took care of the corner kick. Altuğ Yücelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devlet Hatmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Devlet Hatmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Yahyali JK's Kağan Tezay got a free kick in the 87th minute. Kağan Tezay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Altuğ Yücelen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devlet Hatmi in the 92nd minute of play forced Menderes's goalkeeper Altuğ Yücelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Nasir Bahadıroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aybek Dilsaz in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Yahyali JK's Devlet Hatmi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Altuğ Yücelen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
