In the 2nd match minute, Ergani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sümer Sena to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the game, Ahmet Tolga Kuman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mehmet Akif Gelenbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Gaffar Yaver, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Gökalp Rical mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ergani and the Talimhane players grew even worse after the yellow card. Talimhane's İbrahim Dilhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikail Tunçkurt in the 25th minute of play. When Berkan Salat fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talimhane's protests and gave Berkan Salat a yellow card for diving instead. Talimhane's İbrahim Dilhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikail Tunçkurt in the 59th minute of play. Ahmet Tolga Kumans short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Mehmet Akif Gelenbe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Güner Orsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Dilhun having to interfere. Mikail Tunçkurt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İbrahim Dilhun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Gökalp Rical hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nusrettin Ilıcan came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Talimhane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nusrettin Ilıcan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Talimhane booed when Ergani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikail Tunçkurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Tolga Kuman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Mehmet Akif Gelenbe made a huge save. After having played for 94 minutes, Mikail Tunçkurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ergani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikail Tunçkurt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Akif Gelenbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nusrettin Ilıcan in the 97th minute of the match.
