When Abdurrezzak Hekimoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinop JK's protests and gave Abdurrezzak Hekimoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Sinop JK got a freekick which was hit by Abdurrezzak Hekimoğlu. Sinop JK's Yaşar Nuri Erbatur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Ali Dalga in the 5th minute of play. Yaşar Nuri Erbatur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onur Ali Dalga's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Onur Ali Dalga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute Baransel Biçimli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atak Tokuztuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atak Tokuztuğ came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sinop JK's Cihangir Akdurmuş. But to his dismay, Cihangir Akdurmuş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Baransel Biçimli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sinop JK's zone, Onur Ali Dalga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaşar Nuri Erbatur came out of the goal and Onur Ali Dalga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Asım Savlet in the 32nd minute of play forced Sinop JK's goalkeeper Yaşar Nuri Erbatur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hidayet Balıkçıoğlu during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Sinop JK fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Sinop JK's Cihangir Akdurmuş looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sinop JK's goalkeeper Yaşar Nuri Erbatur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baransel Biçimli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Atak Tokuztuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atak Tokuztuğ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdurrezzak Hekimoğlu went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Onur Ali Dalga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Atak Tokuztuğ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sinop JK had won after a very even match.
