Resulhan Tokuztuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Sarioglan SK's goal looked a bit too open when Derviş Erendiz came free, but Yenal İsiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Resulhan Tokuztuğ came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Erzincan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Resulhan Tokuztuğ couldn't finish the play. Atak Koytan made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when İldeniz Özok sent off a good shot on target. When Emin Ünverdi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Sarioglan SK fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derviş Erendiz in the 90th minute of play forced Sarioglan SK's goalkeeper Yenal İsiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cenap Tandoruk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sarioglan SK! Çağdaş Seri shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
