After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gaffar Özender managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yalvac's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaffar Özender was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alphan Ayhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cahit Yasin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cahit Yasin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alphan Ayhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Yalvac got a freekick which was hit by Yakup Kadri Emrettin. In the 24thth minute of the game Gaffar Özender who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kayserispor FK's Alphan Ayhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Gaffar Özender got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Altay Akoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Atilla Kağan Tuğsavaş. Yalvac's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Yalvac's Cahit Yasin got a free kick in the 37th minute. Cahit Yasin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Şeref Ongay made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Cahit Yasin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalvac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cahit Yasin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kayserispor FK's Alphan Ayhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cahit Yasin in the 56th minute of play. Cahit Yasin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alphan Ayhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilla Kağan Tuğsavaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altay Akoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Şeref Ongay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yalvac's Kubilay Birtan got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Şeref Ongay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alphan Ayhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaffar Özender in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Yalvac's Cahit Yasin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Gaffar Özender could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Alphan Ayhan made a huge save. Yalvac's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
