Ünal Aktürk started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Tolga Taşkıner got a very nice opportunity to score, but Özal Gökçek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ünal Aktürk struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Abdulaziz Alkım didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mihalgazi FK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabit Tanbay in the 7th minute of play forced Cilimli's goalkeeper Abdulaziz Alkım to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ünal Aktürk took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulaziz Alkım. Abdulaziz Alkım dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Hataylı in the 14th minute of play forced Mihalgazi FK's goalkeeper Özal Gökçek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cilimli's Nuri Afacan got a free kick in the 15th minute. Özal Gökçek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tolga Taşkıner in the 19th minute. Aytek Şanlı charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aytek Şanlı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Mihalgazi FK. Ali Macit Çağa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Abdulaziz Alkım. 0-2. Özal Gökçek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Hataylı in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolga Taşkıner in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özal Gökçek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ünal Aktürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cilimli's Abdulaziz Alkım was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ünal Aktürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabit Tanbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Hataylı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Özal Gökçek. The goal made the score 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hüseyin Rahmi Hataylı made a kick off. Sabit Tanbay struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihalgazi FK's Ünal Aktürk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdulaziz Alkım. That made the score 2-3 after 70 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yıldıray Mehdi during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Mihalgazi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yıldıray Mehdi to maneuver through the defense. Tolga Taşkıner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özal Gökçek having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cilimli's Özkan Türkeş got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mihalgazi FK's Özal Gökçek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolga Taşkıner in the 89th minute of play.
