Mihalgazi FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gemerek the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytunç Vefakar couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Sabit Tanbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mihalgazi FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aytunç Vefakar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Sabit Tanbay made the kick off in the second half. Sabit Tanbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ahmet Gökalp Ortaçgil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabit Tanbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gökalp Ortaçgil having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabit Tanbay got free with Ahmet Gökalp Ortaçgil in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sabit Tanbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gemerek getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Aytunç Vefakar hit a great ball. Sabit Tanbay in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet Gökalp Ortaçgil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sabit Tanbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. If Sabit Tanbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özal Gökçek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lemi Akkaynak's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. If Lemi Akkaynak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
