After having played for 6 minutes, Mehmet Arif Ongunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sahinbey SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Arif Ongunalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Can Vecih notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sahinbey SK's Yusuf Övünç. Yusuf Övünç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, İlyas Tolga Özver dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Haluk Yastıkcığlu, 1-1. Sahinbey SK's Yusuf Övünç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Can Vecih in the 22nd minute of play. Yusuf Övünç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Orhan Mertkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Ahmet Orhan Mertkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Yusuf Övünç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sahinbey SK's Mehmet Arif Ongunalp got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İlyas Tolga Özver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Haluk Yastıkcığlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haluk Yastıkcığlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Arif Ongunalp in the 38th minute. Sahinbey SK's İlyas Tolga Özver got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cihat Ülkümen fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beylikdüzü SK's protests and gave Cihat Ülkümen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sahinbey SK booed when Beylikdüzü SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihat Ülkümen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Sahinbey SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Orhan Mertkan came free, but Yusuf Övünç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İlyas Tolga Özver was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Orhan Mertkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hayri Dokuzer during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hayri Dokuzer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Aktaç Yıldıray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Övünç having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Orhan Mertkan in the 68th minute of play forced Sahinbey SK's goalkeeper Yusuf Övünç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Beylikdüzü SK's goal looked a bit too open when İlyas Tolga Özver came free, but Haluk Yastıkcığlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Mehmet Arif Ongunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haluk Yastıkcığlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haluk Yastıkcığlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Arif Ongunalp in the 78th minute of the match. Haluk Yastıkcığlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlyas Tolga Özver, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Göksun Uçkan charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göksun Uçkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, one of Beylikdüzü SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Beylikdüzü SK. The referee gave Sahinbey SK a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cemal Erşahin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Beylikdüzü SK's Haluk Yastıkcığlu. 2-2. Yusuf Övünç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüseyin Can Vecih in the 91st minute. Gani Safvetullah's late challenge caught a Beylikdüzü SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gani Safvetullah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Sahinbey SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gani Safvetullah to maneuver through the defense. Haluk Yastıkcığlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Arif Ongunalp in the 99th minute of play.
