Ertuğrul Ceylan had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Yusuf Hepyener's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Sanliurfa's goal looked a bit too open when Buğra Yiğitcan came free, but Ertuğrul Ceylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Güral Suavi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murgul FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güral Suavi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ertuğrul Ceylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buğra Yiğitcan in the 25th minute of play. A hard shot by Tugay Baştugay from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Ertuğrul Ceylan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 38th minute, Sanliurfa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Güral Suavi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 40 minutes, Tekin Taş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanliurfa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tekin Taş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th play minute Güral Suavi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ertuğrul Ceylan. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Buğra Yiğitcan made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Sanliurfa got a freekick which was hit by Tekin Taş. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güral Suavi in the 56th minute of play forced Sanliurfa's goalkeeper Ertuğrul Ceylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Tekin Taş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murgul FK's Ali Berkant Tibet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sanliurfa booed when Murgul FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Hepyener didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özen Bağcı struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ali Berkant Tibet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanliurfa. If Güral Suavi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tekin Taş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sanliurfa getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bilgin Tuğalp hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Sanliurfa's Tekin Taş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Berkant Tibet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Buğra Yiğitcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertuğrul Ceylan having to interfere. Özen Bağcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Berkant Tibet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özen Bağcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
