Arif Tugay Aksoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tan Paksoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necati Karadeniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Orhan Payam in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Yaşar Kayrahan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Necati Karadeniz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Menekse's Tan Paksoy. Tan Paksoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sezer Şabi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mustafa Yaşar Kayrahan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menekse. 22 minutes into the match, Necati Karadeniz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Menekse's Tan Paksoy. Tan Paksoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Necati Karadeniz might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tan Paksoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necati Karadeniz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Seyfi Aktar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menekse's goalkeeper Tan Paksoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Seyfi Aktar charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Seyfi Aktar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 4-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Necati Karadeniz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Menekse's Tan Paksoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Tugay Aksoy in the 42nd minute of play. Arif Tugay Aksoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tan Paksoy having to interfere. If Sezer Şabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Arif Tugay Aksoy made the kick off in the second half. Necati Karadeniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tan Paksoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arif Tugay Aksoy came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sungurlu SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Tugay Aksoy couldn't finish the play. Necati Karadeniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tan Paksoy having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Kamil Sarıdoğan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sungurlu SK and the Menekse players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Sungurlu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamil Sarıdoğan to maneuver through the defense. Hüsnü Sümre was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Sezer Şabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menekse's supporters rose to their feet, but Sezer Şabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 89 minutes, Vecdi Yoruç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menekse and the Sungurlu SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Vecdi Yoruç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Tugay Aksoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tan Paksoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necati Karadeniz struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. The supporters of Sungurlu SK booed when Menekse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazanfer Özyurek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Tugay Aksoy took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tan Paksoy. Tan Paksoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Menekse's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
