The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Recep Tayyip Eraslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İlhan Akil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Ökten in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cerkes JK's zone, İrfan Ökten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu came out of the goal and İrfan Ökten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Umur Özsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Baycan Tavil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İlhan Akil struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamamözü. In the 32nd minute, İrfan Ökten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Cerkes JK's goalkeeper Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İlhan Akil. İlhan Akil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umur Özsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baycan Tavil having to interfere. Recep Tayyip Eraslan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu. Cerkes JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umur Özsel made a kick off. Burhan Semih hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. İrfan Ökten took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu. Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 61 minutes of play Hamamözü's Recep Tayyip Eraslan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 62nd minute, Recep Tayyip Eraslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baycan Tavil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhun Bala in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umur Özsel in the 65th minute of play forced Hamamözü's goalkeeper Baycan Tavil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hamamözü! When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Cerkes JK's Erhun Bala got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baycan Tavil. Umur Özsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Baycan Tavil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baycan Tavil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Baki Gençyaz in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Babür Onguner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamamözü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerkes JK the free kick. The supporters of Cerkes JK booed when Hamamözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babür Onguner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umur Özsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baycan Tavil having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Cerkes JK's goal looked a bit too open when İlhan Akil came free, but Rüstem Hacıfettahoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Emre Sergen charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Emre Sergen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cerkes JK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mehmet Emre Sergen hit a great ball. If Umur Özsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
