The attack was good, but when Göktürk Ateşoğlu in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mehmet Hamdi Erdemalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okan Şikel having to interfere. When Sandikli JK's Macit Özay in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altay JK's goalie prevented a goal. Altay JK's Okan Şikel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Altay JK from getting a goal against them. Okan Şikel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Macit Özay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. The Altay JK fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Altay JK's Göktürk Ateşoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Altay JK's Okan Şikel got control of the ball when Mehmet Hamdi Erdemalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Macit Özay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Altay JK's Bumin Recep seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bumin Recep the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Altay JK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bumin Recep had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Altay JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sandikli JK:s goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Macit Özay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altay JK's Okan Şikel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arslan Oker hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Turan Çağman to make the kick off. Macit Özay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmet Turan Çağman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melih Cevdet Tayguner having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Ahmet Turan Çağman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Melih Cevdet Tayguner stood somewhat misplaced when Ahmet Turan Çağman came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 60 minute. 63 minutes into the game, Arda Göksel Gökçek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altay JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandikli JK the free kick. The supporters of Sandikli JK booed when Altay JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Göksel Gökçek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes, Sandikli JK's Çağrı Gerdaneri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Okan Şikel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandikli JK reached it. Ahmet Turan Çağman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Melih Cevdet Tayguner made a huge save. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altay JK's goalkeeper Okan Şikel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Macit Özay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Okan Şikel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Macit Özay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Hamdi Erdemalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Okan Şikel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Altay JK's zone, Macit Özay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okan Şikel came out of the goal and Macit Özay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
