Kasım Yahya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hayati Gurbet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kasım Yahya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Cengiz Balaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cenk Tunçbilek in the 18th minute. Hayati Gurbet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Güralp Nebi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Güralp Nebi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hayati Gurbet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kasım Yahya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Cenk Tunçbilek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Cengiz Balaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 34th match minute, Besni FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balaban Balatekin to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, İlhan Tüzeman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 55th minute of the match Bozkurt Kongur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Cengiz Balaman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hayati Gurbet made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Kasım Yahya sent off a good shot on target. Besni FK's Hayati Gurbet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Besni FK from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Salih Canbolat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Besni FK booed when Balat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güvenç Başdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. İlhan Tüzeman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Besni FK's Hayati Gurbet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Besni FK from getting a goal against them. In the 79th match minute, Besni FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balaban Balatekin to maneuver through the defense. Balat's Kasım Yahya got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Güralp Nebi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayati Gurbet having to interfere. Cenk Tunçbilek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cenk Tunçbilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, İlhan Tüzeman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Besni FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
