Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ogün Özarkın started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cerkes SK's zone, Ogün Özarkın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Pehlivan came out of the goal and Ogün Özarkın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arda Pehlivan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ogün Özarkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arda Pehlivan came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Kozan's Hayati Mürsel. But to his dismay, Hayati Mürsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Kozan getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alemdar Özerdim hit a great ball. Halit Fahri Sökmensu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Başar Teber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hayati Mürsel came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Kozan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayati Mürsel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayati Mürsel in the 26th minute of play forced Cerkes SK's goalkeeper Arda Pehlivan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hayati Mürsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ogün Özarkın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arda Pehlivan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Numan Zişan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Ogün Özarkın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arda Pehlivan. Cerkes SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ogün Özarkın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Halit Fahri Sökmensu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerkes SK's protests and gave Halit Fahri Sökmensu a yellow card for diving instead. When Hayati Mürsel came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Kozan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayati Mürsel couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arın Pekant kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. When Arın Pekant fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozan's protests and gave Arın Pekant a yellow card for diving instead. Arın Pekant hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kamil Özveren's late challenge caught a Cerkes SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamil Özveren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Kozan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamil Özveren to maneuver through the defense. Halit Fahri Sökmensu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirza İmren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başar Teber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayati Mürsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arda Pehlivan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İbrahim Efe Tanbek kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Cerkes SK got a corner. Kozan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Selami Cesimi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kozan's goalie and right to Fehmi Azimoğlu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kozan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hayati Mürsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Pehlivan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ogün Özarkın in the 92nd minute of play forced Cerkes SK's goalkeeper Arda Pehlivan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Numan Zişan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Kozan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cerkes SK.
