Derman Korkut charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Derman Korkut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tepebasi booed when Cubuklu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derman Korkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murat Selim Asır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murat Selim Asır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Arda Akatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cubuklu SK's Arda Akatay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Cubuklu SK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 27 minutes, Murat Selim Asır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tepebasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murat Selim Asır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cüneyt Üçer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sabahattin İlican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arda Akatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabahattin İlican in the 39th minute of the match. Arda Akatay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murat Selim Asır in the 41st minute. Murat Selim Asır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. In the 55th minute, Sabahattin İlican got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabahattin İlican fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Akatay having to interfere. Meriç Vaha hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Sabahattin İlican made a precise shot to the right of Arda Akatay. Cubuklu SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabahattin İlican in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arda Akatay saved Cubuklu SK from getting behind. Murat Selim Asır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Altuğ Karay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceyhun Tanın in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes Tepebasi got a freekick which was hit by Özal Veli. In the 97thth minute of the game Murat Selim Asır who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cubuklu SK's Arda Akatay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tepebasi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
