Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Samsun's Aras Rehber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Samsun's Dinçer Gürçınar got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Aras Rehber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ergün Merih who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Eyüp Canberk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eyüp Canberk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ergün Merih in the 21st minute. Timur Taygar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Pülümür's Asım Arif Uluman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Asım Arif Uluman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pülümür protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Asım Arif Uluman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th minute, one of Pülümür:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pülümür. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Samsun's goalkeeper Gafur Ortanca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aras Rehber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasan Gökalp charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hasan Gökalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hasan Gökalp hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Eyüp Canberk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aras Rehber's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samsun's goalkeeper Gafur Ortanca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burhanettin Ergalip was the one to do the kick off. Burhanettin Ergalip struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gafur Ortanca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pülümür. A collision led to Samsun getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. İdris Zekeriya hit a great ball. Burhanettin Ergalip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Samsun's zone, Burhanettin Ergalip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gafur Ortanca came out of the goal and Burhanettin Ergalip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ergün Merih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Eyüp Canberk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samsun's Dinçer Gürçınar suffered a concussion in the 74th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Yavuz Selim Enginsoy fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pülümür's protests and gave Yavuz Selim Enginsoy a yellow card for diving instead. Yavuz Selim Enginsoy hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Samsun's Raik Hızlan tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Burhanettin Ergalip came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pülümür fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burhanettin Ergalip couldn't finish the play.
