Dinçer Gürçınar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabit Peyam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Rehber in the 35th minute of the match. Okan Sadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ergün Merih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Arif Cengiz Akbayrak made the kick off in the second half. Sabit Peyam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ergün Merih, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Ergün Merih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Samsun booed when Bayindir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orbay Uzkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th play minute Okan Sadi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gafur Ortanca. 2-1. If Ergün Merih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabit Peyam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aras Rehber's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Orbay Uzkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayindir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samsun the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Orbay Uzkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabit Peyam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Rehber in the 94th minute of play.
