Tarkan Ilgın's shot from long distance in the 3rd minute was not bad at all, but Görele's Mustafa Cumhur Babayiğit knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Görele's zone, Sait Efe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Cumhur Babayiğit came out of the goal and Sait Efe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sait Efe in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Babayiğit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bedri Dikici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Görele's Lefter Miran got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erol Canser scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batur Toktuğ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Görele were furious when Davut Yıldızhan was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Görele! When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Yesilköy SK's Tarkan Ilgın got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mustafa Cumhur Babayiğit. When Hidayet Yamaç fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yesilköy SK's protests and gave Hidayet Yamaç a yellow card for diving instead. Hidayet Yamaç kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Hidayet Yamaç was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Sait Efe in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Babayiğit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bedri Dikici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After having played for 58 minutes, Erol Canser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Görele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erol Canser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erol Canser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Batur Toktuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Babür Kayhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erol Canser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batur Toktuğ having to interfere. If Lefter Miran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mustafa Cumhur Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sait Efe in the 73rd minute of play. Sait Efe succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 78th minute, Erol Canser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Görele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 87th minute, Uygur Şahabeddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Yesilköy SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Görele:s goal. In the 92nd minute, Uygur Şahabeddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erol Canser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Batur Toktuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erol Canser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Görele players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Yesilköy SK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
