Dilmen Derdiyok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertaç İzmirli, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Mehmet Hamdi Üstam might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dilmen Derdiyok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Hamdi Üstam ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, İskender Murathan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Köprübasi JK's Dilmen Derdiyok proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Köprübasi JK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Köprübasi JK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Evren Müslim hit a great ball. The supporters of Köprübasi JK booed when Catak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. İskender Murathan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dilmen Derdiyok didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Hamdi Üstam went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Yavuz Bülent Ruhittin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celalettin Rami in the 36th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Catak got a freekick which was hit by İskender Murathan. In the 41st minute of the match Abdurrezzak Irmak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yavuz Bülent Ruhittin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Evren Müslim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Köprübasi JK's goalkeeper Dilmen Derdiyok, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertaç İzmirli to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dursun Ali Ongunalp during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Köprübasi JK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dursun Ali Ongunalp hit a great ball. Catak's Ertaç İzmirli got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
