Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruhi Tugay started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Abdurrahim Cangiray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Etiler SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fatih the free kick. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Fatih. Işıkalp Ergüvenç stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mehmet Çağrı Tekay. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Fatih's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Nafiz Taki came free, but Lemi Ezgü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Fatih's goalkeeper Lemi Ezgü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veysel Kılınç. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kürşat Torgay in the 19th minute of play forced Fatih's goalkeeper Lemi Ezgü to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veysel Kılınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lemi Ezgü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Çağrı Tekay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturay Sait, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veysel Kılınç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Lemi Ezgü made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Etiler SK's goal looked a bit too open when Baturay Sait came free, but Mehmet Çağrı Tekay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruhi Tugay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Veysel Kılınç came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Etiler SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veysel Kılınç couldn't finish the play. Kürşat Torgay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lemi Ezgü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Çağrı Tekay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baturay Sait, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute Ruhi Tugay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Tekay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Veysel Kılınç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kürşat Torgay was the one to do the kick off. If Kürşat Torgay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Çağrı Tekay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baturay Sait in the 69th minute. Veysel Kılınç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Veysel Kılınç in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lemi Ezgü saved Fatih from getting behind. The supporters of Fatih booed when Etiler SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulki Baliç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes, Aşkın Beyazit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fatih and the Etiler SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Fatih got a freekick which was hit by Aşkın Beyazit. Vefa Fidan hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th match minute, Etiler SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faruk Nafiz Taki to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fatih walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
