Yavuz Selimhan Neba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Demiralp Samin. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Pendik's goalkeeper Ruhi Taşcıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cengizhan Şakib. After 11 played minutes Pendik got a freekick which was hit by Demir Çinucen. Aras Kutlucan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Demiralp Samin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozan Yöntem in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Müjdat Vefi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Müjdat Vefi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demiralp Samin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Ovacik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behlül Akartürk to maneuver through the defense. Ozan Yöntem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demiralp Samin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Müjdat Vefi in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demiralp Samin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Müjdat Vefi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ovacik players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pendik were winning 0-1.

Yavuz Selimhan Neba charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yavuz Selimhan Neba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Yavuz Selimhan Neba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovacik's Demiralp Samin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müjdat Vefi in the 57th minute of play. Demiralp Samin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müjdat Vefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demiralp Samin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müjdat Vefi in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Cengizhan Şakib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruhi Taşcıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovacik were furious when İskender Baki Kani was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 70 minutes into the game, one of Ovacik:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ediz Ünsal hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. İlbey Tutuş struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ruhi Taşcıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ovacik. Demiralp Samin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müjdat Vefi in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İlbey Tutuş during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ovacik's İlbey Tutuş got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Müjdat Vefi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Pendik left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ovacik.
