The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Atilla Tarkan Turay put in a rough tackle. 3 minutes into the game, one of Sincanli SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th match minute, Sincanli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cuma Mutluhan to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sincanli SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Kartal Sabih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Sincanli SK got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzhan Verim. Arif Nihat Hatemoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Sincanli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Sabih came free, but Kamuran Derviş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sincanli SK's İsmail Cem Turatekin got a free kick in the 36th minute. Enginalp Baysal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kamuran Derviş. Sincanli SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th minute, Süruri Kambay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Arif Nihat Hatemoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kamuran Derviş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Kartal Sabih made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Sincanli SK defense, Arif Nihat Hatemoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kamuran Derviş. The Sincanli SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamuran Derviş should have stopped the shot. In the 60thth minute of the game Kartal Sabih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sincanli SK's Kamuran Derviş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şinasi Mengübay charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şinasi Mengübay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Altan Rukni in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Necati Ergün saved Ardahan FK from getting behind. Mustafa Necati Ergün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altan Rukni in the 68th minute of the match. Altan Rukni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Necati Ergün having to interfere. Oğuzhan Verim's late challenge caught a Ardahan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oğuzhan Verim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Sincanli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzhan Verim to maneuver through the defense. Cuma Mutluhan's late challenge caught a Ardahan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Nihat Hatemoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kamuran Derviş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altan Rukni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Necati Ergün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şinasi Mengübay in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ardahan FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
