The audience thought a goal was coming when Mete Şemseddin got free with Üzeyir Zübeyir in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Muhammet Sebuktekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hafik JK's goalkeeper Macit Saygın, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Muhammet Sebuktekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Macit Saygın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macit Saygın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kudret Açar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Kudret Açar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Macit Saygın. Hafik JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kudret Açar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mete Şemseddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üzeyir Zübeyir having to interfere. Hafik JK's Mete Şemseddin came free and shot a quick shot against goal 23 minutes in the game, fortunately Üzeyir Zübeyir had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Üzeyir Zübeyir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıç İmralı, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Kudret Açar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macit Saygın having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Hafik JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kudret Açar came free, but Macit Saygın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Kudret Açar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macit Saygın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hafik JK's zone, Kudret Açar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Macit Saygın came out of the goal and Kudret Açar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Faruk Paksan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tarlabasi booed when Hafik JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Faruk Paksan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hafik JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tarlabasi were winning 0-1.

Muhammet Sebuktekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Macit Saygın having to make a save. In the 53rd match minute, Hafik JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğuralp Gültekin to maneuver through the defense. Macit Saygın made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orhan Ciray in the 54th minute. Kılıç İmralı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üzeyir Zübeyir having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tarlabasi's zone, Mete Şemseddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Üzeyir Zübeyir came out of the goal and Mete Şemseddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Macit Saygın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhammet Sebuktekin's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Muhammet Sebuktekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macit Saygın having to interfere. Erdeniz Kaplan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Özen Sendur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kudret Açar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Macit Saygın made a huge save. Erdeniz Kaplan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Tarlabasi played a much better game than Hafik JK and deserved their victory. The Hafik JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
