Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Şimşek Cantez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Orhun Safi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Türkeli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Cankaya's Ali Vedat Burçhan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kuddusî Özgulec was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ali Vedat Burçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Cankaya's goal looked a bit too open when Feridun Kutlan came free, but Battal Gazi Energin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feridun Kutlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Battal Gazi Energin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şimşek Cantez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cankaya's zone, Feridun Kutlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Battal Gazi Energin came out of the goal and Feridun Kutlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Türkeli's Kuddusî Özgulec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şimşek Cantez in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güney Koçer was the one to do the kick off. Şimşek Cantez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 57 minutes on the clock, Durmuş Sancar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 61 played minutes Türkeli got a freekick which was hit by Güney Koçer. In the 62nd minute of the game, Alemdar Özdek landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 63rd minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Menderes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuddusî Özgulec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek Cantez, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Kuddusî Özgulec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şimşek Cantez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Orhun Safi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Türkeli's zone, Şimşek Cantez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuddusî Özgulec came out of the goal and Şimşek Cantez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Ali Vedat Burçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
