Şimşek Cantez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ali Cafer Yildıran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şimşek Cantez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Ali Vedat Burçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şimşek Cantez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Ali Vedat Burçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Seyfettin Yenbu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Battal Gazi Energin, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Kangal's Ekrem Canay got a free kick in the 38th minute. Kangal's Ali Cafer Yildıran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şimşek Cantez in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şimşek Cantez to make the kick off. In the 66th minute, Ali Vedat Burçhan made a precise shot to the right of Ali Cafer Yildıran. Kangal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Cankaya getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ünsal Hozatlı hit a great ball. Seyfettin Yenbu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Battal Gazi Energin. Battal Gazi Energin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Şimşek Cantez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ali Cafer Yildıran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Cafer Yildıran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şimşek Cantez in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Eşref Aydıntan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cankaya's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
