Kirecburnu's Altuğ Korkutalp got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabri Başdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Arif Yaver in the 9th minute of play. Mehmet Arif Yaver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kirecburnu getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mehmet Arif Yaver hit a great ball. With 27 minutes on the clock, Fahri Safvet commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kirecburnu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Tasköprü. Aybars Yanık stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baysal Tümel. 1-0. Baysal Tümel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmet Başdaş in the 31st minute of the match. Baysal Tümel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bican Akgül in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Tasköprü's goal looked a bit too open when Altuğ Korkutalp came free, but Sabri Başdoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Baysal Tümel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bican Akgül in the 51st minute of the match. Kirecburnu's Altuğ Korkutalp got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Kirecburnu booed when Tasköprü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sertaç Birsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Altuğ Korkutalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirecburnu's supporters rose to their feet, but Altuğ Korkutalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Başdoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute of the match, Altuğ Korkutalp got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sabri Başdoğan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute, Altuğ Korkutalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kirecburnu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 74 minutes into the match, İsmet Başdaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baysal Tümel. Kirecburnu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İsmet Başdaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Tasköprü's Bican Akgül got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, İsmet Başdaş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Baysal Tümel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tasköprü fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kirecburnu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
