Baysal Tümel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Reha Başesgi in the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Altuğ Korkutalp notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Abidinpasa's Cevdet Bircanoğlu. Cevdet Bircanoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute of the match, Cezmi Münib got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baysal Tümel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Altuğ Korkutalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cevdet Bircanoğlu was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Abidinpasa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
