Barbaros Asya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Çağrı Timurtas went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fadıl Demirtuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Barbaros Asya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Çağrı Timurtas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Baransel Ahsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaser Devlettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baransel Ahsen in the 53rd minute of play. Mehmet Çağrı Timurtas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Basbasi SK's goalkeeper Barbaros Asya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serkan Özakay during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bala FK's Serkan Özakay got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Baransel Ahsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bala FK's Yaser Devlettin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yaser Devlettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halim Öztaylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Baransel Ahsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yaser Devlettin was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
