Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fenerbahce's Tugay Mutluay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tugay Mutluay might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güntekin Aksoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tugay Mutluay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Mecnun Visali fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Güntekin Aksoy, passed just outside the right post. Tugay Mutluay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Fenerbahce's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tugay Mutluay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mecnun Visali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Güntekin Aksoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tugay Mutluay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güntekin Aksoy having to interfere. With a little luck, Kozakli JK's Güntekin Aksoy got control of the ball when Mecnun Visali tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mecnun Visali came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Güntekin Aksoy could save by the left post. In the 31st minute Akşemseddin Muhteşem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi Rafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Namık Civanbaht blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehdi Rafi having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, Kozakli JK's goalkeeper Güntekin Aksoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mecnun Visali. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tugay Mutluay in the 43rd minute of play forced Kozakli JK's goalkeeper Güntekin Aksoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kozakli JK's zone, Mecnun Visali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güntekin Aksoy came out of the goal and Mecnun Visali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Akşemseddin Muhteşem was the one to do the kick off. Namık Civanbaht struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Mehdi Rafi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kozakli JK. Yaman Temizalp hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Namık Civanbaht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehdi Rafi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akşemseddin Muhteşem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Ahmet Seyfi Cevher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kozakli JK the free kick. When Tugay Mutluay came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Fenerbahce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tugay Mutluay couldn't finish the play. Mehdi Rafi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akşemseddin Muhteşem in the 75th minute of play. If Namık Civanbaht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akşemseddin Muhteşem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Rafi having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Ediz Tolgunay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahce and the Kozakli JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Fenerbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediz Tolgunay to maneuver through the defense. Mehdi Rafi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akşemseddin Muhteşem's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Mecnun Visali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güntekin Aksoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mecnun Visali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Semi Oyal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fenerbahce! Mehdi Rafi had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Ogün Tokur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 0-1 came in the 97th minute when Ogün Tokur all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Mehdi Rafi. The Kozakli JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
