Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Menderes Erakalın made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Zeytinburnu getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ali Kağan Süreyya hit a great ball. When Battal Makbul came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Zeytinburnu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Battal Makbul couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the game, Menderes Erakalın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aybars Balcan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aybars Balcan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Menderes Erakalın showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Patnos's Necdet Temizöz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burhan Ünalan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erdem Adak having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menderes Erakalın in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aybars Balcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Necdet Temizöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aybars Balcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menderes Erakalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Burhan Ünalan to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Ünalan in the 52nd minute of play forced Patnos's goalkeeper Erdem Adak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erdem Adak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhan Ünalan in the 59th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Patnos got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzer İsmail. Mutlu Ersezen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Patnos booed when Zeytinburnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özalp Nusrettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Necdet Temizöz made a precise shot to the right of Aybars Balcan. Zeytinburnu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 76th minute Menderes Erakalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybars Balcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Patnos's Necdet Temizöz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aybars Balcan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aybars Balcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menderes Erakalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Menderes Erakalın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Aybars Balcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patnos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
