An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Anıl Uzman in the 18th minute of play forced Tortum's goalkeeper Cüneyd Soyurgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Arın Oğuzkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tortum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurtalan the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kurtalan's zone, Baturhan Tokuşhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanju Arıbaş came out of the goal and Baturhan Tokuşhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Anıl Uzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cüneyd Soyurgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Tortum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talha Humbaracıbaşı to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Tortum's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Anıl Uzman came free, but Cüneyd Soyurgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kurtalan getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ahmet Tolga Perinçek hit a great ball. Mustafa Anıl Uzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Anıl Uzman to strike the kick off in the second half. Cüneyd Soyurgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdi Seyfi in the 51st minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tanju Arıbaş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Tortum's Seyrani Hafi got a free kick in the 81st minute. Cüneyd Soyurgal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Anıl Uzman's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Tortum defense, Hulusi Torehan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cüneyd Soyurgal. The Tortum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cüneyd Soyurgal should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Mustafa Anıl Uzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurtalan's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Anıl Uzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyd Soyurgal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Seyrani Hafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Kurtalan got a corner. Tortum's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tarkan Yanar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kurtalan's Tarkan Yanar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cüneyd Soyurgal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tortum players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kurtalan.
