The supporters of Yesilova SK booed when Hafik SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ogün Murat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fuat Rekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but İrfan Erdoğan made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Akif Uyguralp had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 16th minute, Kuddusî Orgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Fuat Rekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Fuat Rekin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Fuat Rekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yesilova SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fuat Rekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İrfan Erdoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İrfan Erdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orbay Semi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Fuat Rekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yesilova SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fuat Rekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fuat Rekin made the kick off in the second half. If Ayberk İbiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Hafik SK's Alemdar Balıkçı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Ogün Murat hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Fuat Rekin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. İrfan Erdoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yesilova SK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alemdar Balıkçı in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Bilge Behzat saved Yesilova SK from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Sertaç Kayrabay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Orbay Semi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orbay Semi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. İrfan Erdoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alemdar Balıkçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mehmet Bilge Behzat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bayındır Mehmet Toper took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mehmet Bilge Behzat. Yesilova SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Hafik SK's Alemdar Balıkçı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Bilge Behzat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fuat Rekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Although Yesilova SK had been in control for most of the match, Hafik SK still came away with the win.
