If Rıdvan Ozansoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Hünerli made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alişan Tanyol sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kürtün JK's zone, Hayati Bilek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruhi Ercan came out of the goal and Hayati Bilek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gündüz Yağızkan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruhi Ercan saved Kürtün JK from getting behind. In the 20th minute Melih Cevdet Oykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruhi Ercan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gündüz Yağızkan in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruhi Ercan saved Kürtün JK from getting behind. The nice shot from Alişan Tanyol in the 24thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Atilla Hünerli had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ruhi Ercan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gündüz Yağızkan in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kürtün JK's zone, Hayati Bilek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruhi Ercan came out of the goal and Hayati Bilek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Gündüz Yağızkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orhangazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gündüz Yağızkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gündüz Yağızkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruhi Ercan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gündüz Yağızkan ran back to his position shaking his head. Hayati Bilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruhi Ercan having to interfere. Hayati Bilek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ruhi Ercan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruhi Ercan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayati Bilek in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Orhangazi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gündüz Yağızkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Kürtün JK's Rıdvan Ozansoy made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilla Hünerli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the game, Kürtün JK's Rıdvan Ozansoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilla Hünerli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Rıdvan Ozansoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kürtün JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıdvan Ozansoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kürtün JK booed when Orhangazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boğaç Server didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kürtün JK's Alişan Tanyol got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Orhangazi's goal looked a bit too open when Rıdvan Ozansoy came free, but Atilla Hünerli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruhi Ercan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gündüz Yağızkan in the 68th minute of the match. Abdulkadir Dersu took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilla Hünerli. Atilla Hünerli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ruhi Ercan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gündüz Yağızkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Alişan Tanyol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Hünerli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gündüz Yağızkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orhangazi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kürtün JK.
