The referee ignored Inebolu JK's protests and gave Berkin Akgündüz a yellow card for diving instead. 22 minutes into the game, Aytunç Ataner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inebolu JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diyarbakir the free kick. Hafız Daim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Sabit Buminhan made a huge save. Kamber Ulubaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diyarbakir's goalkeeper Dilmen Özsel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamber Ulubaş was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Kamber Ulubaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vacid Muammer got free with Dilmen Özsel in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dilmen Özsel was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Oğuzhan Akabe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oğuzhan Akabe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of Inebolu JK booed when Diyarbakir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hafız Daim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vacid Muammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Özsel having to interfere.
